Ello building toys are a line of construction blocks that were first introduced in 2003 by the American toy company Mattel. The building blocks are made from plastic and come in a variety of shapes and sizes that can be assembled to create different structures and figures. Ello building toys are unique in that they feature flexible pieces that can bend and warp, allowing for even more creative possibilities. They were marketed towards girls specifically, as they encouraged creativity and imagination through their modular pieces, allowing kids to create their own designs or follow the instructions provided in the packaging. Eventually, Mattel ceased production of the Ello building toys in 2009, but they remain popular amongst hobbyists and collectors today.
